Jilian Grey and drummer Ric Haddad have been performing together since they were both juvenile delinquents. Together with Michael Frishman on bass and Mike Savino on guitar, they have become a favorite every Thursday at the Griswold Inn.
Performing at many established venues along the Shoreline, Cherry Pie has garnered a loyal and enthusiastic following.
Jilian Grey has appeared at notable venues from Washington, DC to South Florida, and Las Vegas. Under her father’s tutelage, a Metropolitan Opera alumna, she formed the basis for her style that is passionate, honest and natural. “We fell hopelessly in love with Jilian Grey; she’s got a voice like fresh-churned butter.”(XS Magazine) Cherry Pie is her passion project, with every song a favorite and the opportunity to play for wonderful audiences.
Michael has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years in numerous solo, duo and bands.
Mike has played to enthusiastic crowds in local restaurants, cafes, nightclubs and festivals, as well as a U.S. tour of over 25 states. He is a staple at fairs and festivals throughout New England. Savino brings humor and great musicianship to every performance.
Veteran musician, recording engineer and artist, Mike joined the Cherry Pie band to lend his deep sense of swing, great harmonies, and class to the line-up. Audiences will remember him from the Shiny Lapel Trio, numerous duo and band performances throughout New England.
Versatile and accomplished Haddad, has toured Europe, South America, and across the US. Performing with rock and pop legend Carly Simon and blues diva Maria Muldaur, Haddad was also recruited to play with the incomparable Jesse Norman, Sarah Vaughn, the New York Voices, Ace Freely from Kiss and members of the Little Richard Band.
